ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
Please carefully read these Terms of Use relating to the Wildlife Rescue Mobile Website / Application Software (the Service). The Service is owned and operated by the International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW) & New South Wales Wildlife Council Inc. (NWC). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Use and accept the Privacy Policy and the Collection Statement at http://www.ifaw.org/australia/privacy-policy without limitation or qualification. If you do not accept these Terms of Use, the Privacy Policy, and the Collection Statement, you should not register for a user account and you should immediately exit this site and refrain from using the Service.

IFAW & NWC reserves the right to update the Terms of Use at any time. Your continued use of the Service after such an update constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms of Use.

By sending a pre-filled email to IFAW via the "contact us" link on this site you consent to receive electronic communications from IFAW about IFAW, its activities and its related entities, in accordance with the terms of IFAW’s Privacy Policy and Collection Statement http://www.ifaw.org/australia/privacy-policy. If you receive communications from IFAW which you do not wish to receive, you may remove your name from the database at any time by utilising the unsubscribe option (if the communication is via commercial electronic message), by completing the applicable opt out information via IFAW’s Collection Statement, or by contacting IFAW via the contact details set out at the end of its Privacy Policy. OVERVIEW OF SERVICE
The purpose of the Service is to provide consolidated contact information of wildlife rescue organisations (currently in NSW only), and provide basic intermediate information prior to a rescue organisation taking over the care of the injured native wildlife. The search results have been compiled from the membership list of the NWC and cross-referenced with the official details of wildlife rehabilitation groups and rescue organisations provided by the NSW Office of Environment & Heritage (OEH). The areas of operation for each rehabilitation group / rescue organisation have been obtained from the official OEH Wildlife Rehabilitation Map and should be viewed as a guide only.

The Service is not intended to serve as a substitute for the service provided by a consultation with a registered veterinary practitioner/rescue organisation at a licensed veterinary hospital/rescue organisation. The Service will not diagnose or treat an animal or prescribe medicine or medical treatment advice for an animal. By entering this site, and/or registering for a user account to use the Service, you acknowledge and accept this.

The Service should not be used for medical treatment information in the case of an emergency. If a situation arises which you believe is an emergency (or which would appear to a reasonable person to be an emergency), urgent and immediate medical attention should be sought from a registered veterinary practitioner. In such a case, it will be necessary to contact your local veterinarian or animal hospital immediately.

IFAW & NWC provide the Service (including this site and its content), for general informational purposes only. Except as provided by law, this site and the Service are provided "as is" and without any warranty or condition, express or implied. The information accessed via the Service is not exhaustive. IFAW & NWC make reasonable efforts to ensure that the information provided via the Service is accurate and current, but make no warranties or representations that the Service is accurate, complete or suitable for your purposes.

INFORMATION FOR WILDLIFE CARERS REGISTERED IN NEW SOUTH WALES ONLY
The Service and all materials and information provided in connection with the Service are intended for wildlife carers, rescuers and rehabilitators based in New South Wales and registered under the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1974 (NSW).

COMPUTER DAMAGE AND DELAY
Neither IFAW nor NWC is responsible for computer or mobile device damage resulting from using this site or the Service. IFAW & NWC make no representation or warranty that access to this site or the Service will be available on a timely basis, will be uninterrupted or without errors, omissions or viruses. Neither IFAW nor NWC warrants that this site, the Service or the server that makes them available, are free of viruses or other harmful elements.

PERSONAL INFORMATION AND USE
